A great big WELCOME to the Sweet Eats Bake Shop website! My name is Chrys, and I'm the owner and baker. Thank you so much for your interest in my bake shop. I opened in January of 2012 and have been growing ever since thanks to my wonderful customers!
My store front bakery in New Carlisle closed permanently on 31 Dec 16 due to personal health reasons.
Sweet Eats offers scrumptious sweet treats screaming to be eaten! Everything is home made and baked from scratch. My style of baking is traditional with a modern twist.
Sweet Eats baked goods are made using the tastiest and freshest ingredients available. Traditional baked goods are available, as well as sugar-free and gluten-free. Sugar-free and gluten-free products require advance ordering (2 days advance notice please). As much as possible, I use fresh and healthy ingredients in my baked goods, such as fresh fruits and vegetables (often grown in my home garden or obtained from local farmers), fruit juices for flavor, organic agave nectar for sweetness, pumpkin in lieu of oil, are some examples. I use real vanilla beans and pure vanilla extract and fruit purees/jams from local farmers or that I make myself. I build lots of flavor into my baked goods from the bottom up, so you can be assured everything that leaves my bakery is scrumptious! My frostings are made from scratch, too! My signature buttercream frosting is made with unsalted butter in lieu of shortening. I also offer Bettercream frosting, which is non-dairy whipped frosting that is lighter and less sweet than buttercream. Yum!
